A base 3 numeral, which is divisible by 3 can be recognized by looking at  its last digit.  If the last digit is 0, then the number would be divisible by 3.

 

Consider the number 429 which is divisible by 3. Let this be converted into a base 3 number as shown below:

 

The last digit 0 signifies the divisibility of 429 by 3.  This would be true for any base.
